RAKSHASARAJAVU MOVIE COLLECTION REPORTS - 2001 YEAR TOPPER

  Another milestone in Vinayan's invincible triumph. To the 20th year of the Rakshasa Rajavu

Following the super hit 'Dada Sahib' released in the late 2000s, another film in the same combo is set to release. The film was originally titled Rakshasaraman but was later renamed as Rakshasaraja.

Mammootty plays the role of a police officer in the super director Vinayan movie which has made the films huge hits without any star cast. The hype of the Rescue King reached its peak. Rakshasan was released on August 31, 2001 in 36 theaters in Kerala. The film, which started with a serious initial collection, was screened everywhere until its 6th week of release. Rakshasaraja was in front of Ravana Prabhu in the initial collection at Ernakulam Center

The movie which grossed over 40 lakhs in 35 days from Thiruvananthapuram was also screened in Thiruvananthapuram.

While Rakshasaraja's success is clearly stated in the year - end reports of that year, as the years go by, some cyber fighters go on to defeat the film with some fanmail pieces that can never be reconciled.

Vinayan also said that Raksha Raja, who is counted among the biggest hits of the year every year, has made a profit for Sargam Kabir. The Tamil dubbing rights helped Mammootty to sell Raksha Raja for more money than any other actor. The film also did well on cassette sales. The film was a sudden project. Therefore, the huge success of this film made Vinayan very happy ...!
